Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA) Online Services are a suite of tools on the TSBPA website that allows individual CPAs and accounting firms to manage their licenses and professional requirements online. These services include submitting license renewals, reporting Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours, updating contact and office information, and tracking license status.

Exam Candidate Login
- Review and Change your Contact Information
- Review Information submitted to qualify to sit for the Exam
- Apply online to sit for Sections of the Exam
- Review your Testing Activities
- Review your Scores, Credits, Diagnostic Reports
- Review Information submitted to qualify for CPA Certification
Once all certification documents have been received:
- Complete an exam on the Texas Board’s Rules of Professional Conduct (if applicable)
Individual Licensee Login
- Report CPE courses throughout the year; track your CPE requirement: Enter your CPE as you complete a course.
- Complete the Annual License Renewal: You can begin submitting information for your renewal six weeks prior to the submission deadline. Submit your renewal with fee payment prior to the deadline. If all requirements are met your license will be issued the next business day.
- View the reasons your license has not been issued: As an example, you may need to report more CPE hours to complete your renewal.
- Update your email address: Receive immediate notification of important information.

Make changes to information about your firm:
- Update Contact Information
- Notify the Board about Offices Dissolved or Organized
- Update the CPA Owners associated with an Office
- Update Peer Review Exemption Information
Complete the Annual License Renewal: Submit your renewal with the required fee payment.
Submit additions and corrections to your Annual License Renewal: Once all requirements are met your license will be issued the next business day.
CPAverify provides an online search for employers, professionals and the general public, allowing anyone who may need to verify a CPA’s status to check the designation and find out CPA licensing information provided by participating State Boards of Accountancy. CPAverify minimizes the need to check the website of each State Board of Accountancy individually to determine a CPA’s license status. CPAverify, with support from participating State Boards of Accountancy, allows consumers the opportunity to check the status of multiple licenses a professional holds at one website.
