Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Philip Worley of Hebbronville to the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a public member. Mr. Worley’s term will expire on Jan. 31, 2017.
A former dean of arts and humanities at Laredo Community College, Mr. Worley is a member of the Texas Medical Board District Four Review Committee and previously served on the board of the Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation.
