Executive Director William Treacy Celebrates 35 Years with TSBPA

Congratulations to William “Bill” Treacy for serving 35 years as the executive director of the TSBPA! Presiding Officer Jeannette Smith, CPA presented a 35-year service award to Mr. Treacy at the September 18, 2025, Board meeting. “It is an honor to work for this Board,” Mr. Treacy responded when recognized at the Board meeting. “I am very privileged to be part of such a noble cause.” Throughout his career, Mr. Treacy has always prioritized protecting the public and regulating the profession with an eye toward independence, integrity, and objectivity for all Texas licensees. His regulatory philosophy is “compliance over condemnation.” We appreciate his excellent leadership and dedication to the Board over these past 35 years.
